How the weeks fly by! So far I feel that my training plan and my lifestyle are dove-tailing very well together, and I haven't struggled with any of it..... SO FAR! After an epic Wednesday hill training session in week 2 (on the wicked road that leads to the golf course on St George's Down!), I was feeling invincible! We did a warm-up followed by 10 second hill sprints with recovery jogs in between each burst, and covered 4 miles in the end. The following day I had a very hilly but beautiful run with the IOW Road Runners and went flying up Nunnery Lane (famed locally for it's gradient!) as if I ate hills for breakfast!
