Jo’s Marathon Blog – week 6 (eek!)
The week started with an "unexpected item in the baggage area" in the form of family visiting at short notice! We also had a meeting mid-week which meant swapping some sessions around. Knowing that the training programme is a guide and NOT carved in stone, we have managed to adapt our plans (we hope!) to accommodate everyone/everything happily, and I am looking forward to the long (14 mile) run planned for Sunday. Monday was supposed to be my rest day, but I swapped it for Wednesday and hauled myself out for a hot and weary 3 miles before we shut the shop (I was aiming for 4 but had an upset tummy).
